Bruce’s Isuzu Giga 380 heavy transport truck was very sluggish and experiencing frequent DPF clogging, causing damage to the DPF and reverting the engine into limp mode.
Ultimate Tuning carried out the entire job on-site, providing a reliable coding solution combined with a custom ECU remap that optimized performance and eliminated the issue.
The Isuzu transporter now hauls heavy machinery up the same hills in two gears higher than before while using around 10% less fuel overall.
Richard brought his Triton to us for an EGR intake clean and a remap. He had previously taken it to another tuning company for a remap, but was not satisfied with the results and did not notice any improvement over the stock tune, even after returning for a second attempt.
Upon inspecting the remap, we found that while it had in fact been modified, very little had been changed from the stock file, with even the torque command parameters remaining untouched!
Ultimate Tuning reset everything back to factory settings and created a new tune file specifically tailored to Richard’s needs, with proper torque command parameters.
The difference in performance after the new tune was like night and day, and combined with the EGR intake clean, the Triton is now operating at its full potential!
